A marriage license must be obtained from the town in which the marriage ceremony will take place. Therefore, if your wedding is taking place in the Town of Lisbon, you need to obtain your marriage license from Town Clerk's office. You must first fill out the Marriage License Application and send it in. Once the application has been processed, you will make an appointment to come in and receive your marriage license. You will need to bring an approved form of identification, along with the required fee (Cash or Check ONLY). The license is valid for 65 days.

Vital Certificates: The cost of a certified copy of a birth, marriage or death certificate is $20.00, made out to the Town of Lisbon. Requests can be sent to Lisbon Town Clerk's Office 1 Newent Road Lisbon, CT 06351.
