Historical Society
The Lisbon Historical Society is charged with the renovation and general care of the Town’s historic places: the Burnham Tavern on North Burnham Highway, the Bishop House on South Burnham Highway, Anshei Israel Synagogue on Newent Road, and the newly acquired Newent Meeting House (formerly Newent Congregational Church) across from the Bishop House and next door to the Town Hall.
